This event is more than just a sporting experience. It is a tribute to the initiator

and pioneer, veteran athlete Panagiotis Papavassiliou, but also an opportunity to showcase the natural beauty of Argolis, its hospitality, its local products and its rich history.
This year, the organizing committee aspires to pass a strong social message. In cooperation with the Association of Volunteer Blood Donors of Argolis "Blood Bonds", the race is dedicated to voluntary blood donation, honoring the anonymous heroes, who save lives with their offer...

The Route - a road of myth and beauty
The 15,300-meter route starts from the enchanting landscape of Lerna, where Danaus landed with his daughters to begin his reign in Argos, and passes through places full of history and myth. From the footsteps of Hercules -just before his confrontation with the beast Lernaia Hydra- to Nea Kios with its mythical connection to the Argonautic expedition, until the finish in magical Nafplio, every moment of the route promises unique excitement.

Sunday, February 16th 2025
8:00 - Race's Secretariat opens, at the "Ardamis" old restaurant
9:00 - Fast Walk race starting time (along the route of the official 15,300-meter race)
10:00 - Starting of the official 15,300-meter race
12:00 - Start of the children's race of 1000 meters (from the Nafplio Swimming Pool and finish at the main race finish area).
13:00 - Awards ceremony
13:30 - End of Race - Awards Ceremony until 13:45

Transportation
The transportation will be provided by buses departing from 7:45 to 8:30 from the Municipal Stadium of Nafplio. Under the organizers' supervision, participants will be transferred free of charge to the starting area.

Individual and team registrations are accepted. The deadline for registrations is Friday, February 7th 2025 until 20:00, or until the limit is reached. Registrations will not be accepted on the day of the race.

Free participation for the children's race and for people with disabilities.

Bib number with electronic chip for timing.
Commemorative medal for all finishers.

Transportation of participants from the finish to the starting point.
